Charities Connection and Resource Centre, formerly The Charities Administration Associates, is a non-profit organization that assists non-profits and charities to better fulfil their missions. We can help your group with fund raising, marketing and promotion, operations, and the management of volunteer resources to improve their effectiveness and your efficiency.
The 1999 Special Events Showcase profiles 50 special fund raising events held by non-profit origanizations that have raised net revenues of more than 4.6 million dollars.
Whether you work or volunteer for a non-profit or a charity, the Showcase will help you better plan your next special event. If you are employed by a company that provides services or products to the charitable sector, the Showcase will help you determine what services and products special event fund raising counts on to succeed.
Today, charities and non-profits face the unknown every time they plan a new special event, and they often have a lot of unanswered questions. Groups have to use every one of the available methods to raise the funds they need to fulfil their missions. Charities that may have never in the past used special events to raise funds are now brainstorming to find the special event that will have an impact on their bottom line.
The Special Events Showcase features dinners and galas, theatre and music events, sports events, like walks and runs, auctions, bazaars and sales. Events raised from $500 to $800,000, with most in between.
